Uyai Hair is a Nigerian Ayurvedic scalp care brand. We make products that focus on scalp health using time-tested Ayurvedic herbs, because healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp.
Uyai means beauty in Ibibio, a language from southern Nigeria. It reflects our belief that real beauty starts beneath the surface.
We currently ship across Nigeria through Fez Delivery. International shipping is coming soon.
Delivery within Lagos takes 1–3 business days. Other states in Nigeria take 3–7 business days depending on location.
We accept card payments, bank transfers, and USSD through Paystack. All transactions are secure.
Due to the nature of beauty and personal care products, we do not accept returns on opened items. If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, contact us at hello@uyaihair.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the issue.
All of them. We focus on the scalp, not hair type. Every hair type grows from a scalp, and that’s what our products treat. Whether you have 3A curls or 4C coils, if your scalp needs care, our products are for you.
Our products are formulated with natural ingredients — Ayurvedic herbs, plant-based oils, butters, and essential oils. You can find the full ingredient list on each product page.
Our products contain real Ayurvedic herbs and essential oils, so they have a natural herbal scent. The Onion Scalp Serum has the strongest scent due to the onion and herbal infusion but it fades after application.
Yes. We don’t test on animals.
Apply one pipette full along your hairline, part, sides, and back. Massage into the scalp using circular motions. Leave in — no rinsing required. Use daily or as needed.
Most of our products are plant-based. Some formulations contain honey, which is sourced locally in Nigeria.
